AMMAN — The Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, in partnership with the Arab World Center for Democratic Development (UNIHRD) and the German Hans Seidel Foundation (HSF), on Thursday organized a training of trainers (TOT) course in northern Irbid governorate in an advocacy drive for women's political empowerment, with the participation of Jordanian youth leaders countrywide, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Speaking at the event, UNIHRD director, Amira Mustafa, said the four-day workshop aims to train young people from Jordan's various governorates within a project entitled: "Yes, She Can."
Later, she said a number of participants would be picked to attend training on specific topics for this purpose, adding that the first stage will cover southern Karak, Tafila' and Ma'an governorates.
For her part, HSF Deputy Regional Director of Amman Office, Ula Shraideh, said the project is part of a slew of plans implemented under a joint partnership between the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs and HSF, expressing hope to achieve the goals in a manner that would benefit Jordanian society and women in particular.
