AMMAN —
Social Security Corporation said
on Saturday that a person who sustained a work injury on the desert road was
transported through the Jordan Air Ambulance Service from Prince Hashem bin
Abdullah Hospital in Aqaba Governorate to the King Hussein Medical Center in
Amman, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.

According to SSC, the injured person was then
transported by ambulance to the Islamic Hospital.
The injured person works for a Jordanian company
covered by the SSC; he had an accident while working to maintain a vehicle on
the desert road, near the Maan governorate.
The Air Ambulance Service partnered with the
Jordanian Air Ambulance Center to secure the transport of people injured at
their place of work whose condition requires urgent assistance at the nearest
hospital covered by the medical network.
Facilities liaison
officers call the Command and Control Center (at 911) to transfer the injured
whose condition requires transportation by medically equipped helicopter to the
nearest medical treatment facility.
