Hawari added that the two clinics will serve 8,000 Jordanian pilgrims and 4,500 others from Palestinian territories occupied in 1948.

During the farewell ceremony to Jordan's Hajj medical mission on Tuesday, he said the Jordanian health teams will be located in Mecca's Jarul area, and the second facility in the holy city's Al-Hafayer region.

The minister noted the amount of medicines supplied to the mission has been doubled, compared to previous years, in a bid to provide the "best" health services to pilgrims, including medications for chronic diseases, primarily diabetes, high blood pressure, respiratory diseases, rheumatism and other drugs that will cover the patients’ treatment needs.

Hawari stated that the two health missions will be close to locations of pilgrims' gathering and services will be provided to patients round the clock.

Meanwhile, he said cases that require advanced medical procedures will be transferred to Saudi hospitals and followed up until full recovery.
