AMMAN —
In response to His Majesty King Abdullah II directives, two military aircraft
flew to Romania on Tuesday evening to evacuate Jordanian citizens who have
crossed the Ukrainian border into Romania and Moldova due to the escalating
military operations in Ukraine, according to Al-Mamlakah TV.
A total of 215
Jordanian citizens residing in Ukraine were able to cross the border, in
coordination with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate officials, who
have been deployed at the countries bordering Ukraine since the outbreak of
military action, working to receive citizens and providing them with necessary
consular documents, in addition to appropriate means of transportation and accommodation,
in preparation for their return to the Kingdom.
