AMMAN— Two suspects were arrested on Wednesday in
Zarqa Governorate over charges involving financial cases worth
"large" sums of money, according to the police media spokesperson,
the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Zarqa police were tipped off about the whereabouts of a
suspect suspected in over 12 financial cases worth a total of JD3.5 million.
The suspect was arrested in a raid, the spokesperson added.
In another raid, the city's police also nabbed a person
allegedly involved in over 25 different financial cases, which involves JD3
million, the spokesperson noted.
Both suspects will be referred to the relevant judicial
authorities.
