University of Jordan (UJ) President Nathir Obeidat and Polish Ambassador Lucjan
Karpinski discussed joint academic and cultural cooperation, according to the
Jordan News Agency, Petra.

In a meeting on
Tuesday, both discussed the prospect of adding an optional Polish language
course to be taught at UJ, and organizing joint cultural events and lectures.
Obeidat stressed
the university’s commitment to establishing academic cooperation with other
higher education institutions worldwide to widen students’ perception, and
provide them with new experiences.
The polish envoy
expressed hope for developing academic and cultural relations with UJ,
commending the “distinguished” ties between Poland and Jordan.
