AMMAN — On Monday,
United Nations offices in Amman and
worldwide lowered its flags to mourn the loss of UN employees who lost their
lives in Gaza since October 7. Employees were called to observe a minute of
silence for their colleagues with similar moments taking place worldwide.

The blue and white
UN flag was lowered at 09:30 local time
in Amman, a day after the United Nations announced the deaths and injuries of
dozens in an Israeli airstrike on the UN Development Program headquarters in
Gaza, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
The
UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) declared on Friday that over 100 of its workers had been killed in Gaza
since October 7.
