For its humanitarian response in the three countries, the Agency requires $365 million.
UNRWA spoke of the need for these funds to address the consequences of the Syrian crisis, the social and economic deterioration in Lebanon and Syria, the COVID pandemic's effects, and the Ukraine conflict.
The funds are used to provide emergency food and cash assistance to the most vulnerable refugees and essential access services, including education and health, for those forced to flee the war in Syria.
There are 19,000 Palestinian refugees from Syria in Jordan, according to UNRWA estimates, which speak of 100% of them needing emergency cash assistance.
