Roben told Khaberni that despite the increase in umrah
travelers, they only constituted 25 percent of travelers before the pandemic.
Despite this, the huge turnout during the last days of Ramadan led to shortage
in hotel rooms in Mecca and El Madina El Menawara.
He also pointed out that those wishing to travel to
perform umrah have only 10 days to do so; since the pilgrimage season
preparations will start, indicating that life is relatively returning to its
normal routine and the turnout on umrah might increase even more in the
following season.
