The president of the University of Jordan, Nazir Obaidat, announced that the working hours for the next three days (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday) would start at 10 AM. Lectures scheduled before 10 AM will be canceled and rescheduled later. This decision was made due to the expected weather conditions and to avoid the risk of slipping on wet or frozen roads in the early morning hours, ensuring the safety of students and staff.

The decision excludes units and departments where the nature of their work requires different arrangements, and they will coordinate their work schedules directly with their administrations.

The president of Jordan University of Science and Technology, Khaled Al-Salem, also decided to delay the start of work for students and employees until 10 AM on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, in line with the decision of the Prime Minister Jafar Hassan. This delay was made due to the prevailing weather conditions and to ensure the safety of students and staff. The decision excludes individuals whose work nature requires different arrangements.

The president of Al-Tafila Technical University, Bassam Zaal, announced that the university's working hours would begin at 10 AM on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday due to the weather conditions. This decision reflects the university's commitment to the safety of its staff and to providing a safe and outstanding educational environment. The decision also excludes departments whose work nature requires different arrangements.

Additionally, the president instructed that emergency teams be on constant standby to monitor developments and take necessary measures to ensure public safety and the continuity of the educational process.

The university's Computer and Information Technology Center and E-Learning Center were instructed to take the necessary electronic measures to ensure the continuity of student registration and lecture attendance by activating e-learning systems and providing technical support to students and faculty members. Efforts will be made to enhance the digital infrastructure to ensure smooth access to lectures and study materials via approved online platforms.

The university urges all its members to cooperate and comply with the instructions issued by the emergency teams, to enhance a safe and stable educational environment and to ensure the continuity of the educational process with high efficiency and quality, regardless of weather conditions.

The president of the Hashemite University, Khaled Al-Hayyari, also decided to delay the start of work for students and staff until 10 AM on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday due to the prevailing weather conditions, in line with the Prime Minister’s decree, ensuring the safety of students and staff.
