Shaheen highlighted that the Zarqa Free Zone recorded the sale of 3,033 vehicles, while 1,074 were sold through agencies, totaling 4,107 vehicles.

He attributed this surge in demand to price stability and the recent regulatory adjustments for importing electric vehicles (EVs), which have seen a notable rise in sales.

EVs dominated the market, with 3,076 units sold, representing 75.5% of total sales, and experiencing a 26.44% growth rate compared to the annual average.

Hybrid vehicles followed suit, registering a 25.82% increase with 710 units sold, making up 17.43% of the market share. In contrast, sales of gasoline-powered vehicles saw a slight decline of 1.72%, with 288 units sold, constituting 7.07% of total sales.
