According to the Jordan Meteorological Department's report, the Kingdom will be gradually affected on Wednesday by a very cold air mass associated with a low-pressure system centered over Cyprus. A noticeable decrease in temperatures will occur, bringing cold and partly cloudy weather, which will become cloudy.
Rain, God willing, will fall in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom and gradually extend to most areas by evening and night.
The rain is expected to be heavy at intervals, particularly in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, accompanied by thunder and hail, which may lead to flash floods and rising water levels in valleys and low-lying areas. The winds will be active from the west, with occasional strong gusts reaching up to 70 km/h in some areas, causing dust, particularly in the desert regions.
The Kingdom will remain under the influence of the very cold and moist air mass accompanying the low-pressure system on Thursday, where temperatures will continue to decrease.
The weather will be very cold, cloudy, and rainy in most areas, with heavy rain expected at times during the early morning and morning hours, which may lead to flash floods and rising water levels in valleys and low-lying areas.
There is also a possibility of light snow mixed with rain over the high mountain peaks for a short period. The winds will be active from the northwest, with occasional strong gusts in some areas, reaching 70 km/h, causing dust in desert areas. By evening, the rainfall will weaken, and the winds will gradually decrease.
On Friday, the weather will be partly cloudy and cold in most areas, with moderate westerly winds.
