AMMAN—Very cold weather conditions are
forecast, on Friday, with rain in northern and central parts of the Kingdom,
the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update, according
to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Winds will be southwesterly
moderate, picking up at times, the JMD noted.
The department issued several
weather-related warnings, including low visibility caused by low-altitude clouds,
flood formation in valleys and low lying areas, slippery roads due to snow
accumulation and strong winds.
The JMD also warned of the danger of
frost formation during late night hours in various regions.
The minimum and maximum temperatures
in Amman range between -2-4 degrees Celsius, in the Dead Sea 7-15, and in the
Gulf of Aqaba 8-16 degrees Celsius, according to the (JMD) report.
