AMMAN – According to data released on Thursday by the
Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (MoTA), the number of visitors to the
Maqamat Sahaba during the past two months (January and February) has reached
3,088.

The data highlights that the majority of visitors are
foreigners, constituting 53 percent (1,645 visitors), followed by Arab visitors
at 26 percent (817 visitors) and Jordanian visitors at 20 percent (626
visitors), Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
In January, the number of visitors stood at 1,206,
witnessing an increase in February to 1,882.
Jordan boasts 45 shrines dedicated to prophets and
companions, including the site of the Cave of the Seven Sleepers and the Tree
of Al-Buqayawiyya (The Blessed Tree).
