AMMAN —The
World Food Program (WFP) needs
$113.5 million to finance its operation in Jordan until the end of 2022,
Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The operations include providing food aid for eligible
refuges, the continuation of the school feeding project in addition to the
persistence of the program’s developmental activities.
WFP’s office in Jordan is currently providing food
assistance to 465,000 refugees in Jordan, 112,000 of whom are
Syrians living in
refugee camps in the Kingdom. Another 430,000 Jordanian and refugee students
from the most vulnerable groups of society benefit from the school feeding
project.
