Ghebreyesus stated, according to the organization's official website, that the people of Gaza are in dire need of healthcare services, and humanitarian workers require a safe environment to provide assistance.

He confirmed that Al-Ahli and Al-Wafa Rehabilitation Hospitals in Gaza City have been subjected to Israeli attacks, causing severe damage.

He noted that the organization, in cooperation with its partners, has provided essential medical supplies, water, and food to the Indonesian Hospital. Ten critically ill patients were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, despite Israeli forces detaining four of them during the transfer process.

Ghebreyesus also stressed the need for the occupation to respect patients' healthcare rights and to release Dr. Hossam Abu Safia, the Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, whose whereabouts remain unknown.
