AMMAN — The first ever Wadi Rum Travel Media Forum,
organized by Jordan Tourism Board, and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone
Authority, in collaboration with Arab and international television channels is
set to kick off today.

The forum is set to shed light on tourist products in the
South of the Kingdom, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
In a statement the forum director, Abdul-Mahdi Qatameen
started that the event casts light on tourist products and highlights its nature,
history, and heritage, which dates back to the 6,000 years BC.
Qatameen added that Wadi Rum has received an increased in
domestic and global tourism due to its uniqueness, and rare terrain, making it
a perfect destination for people who enjoy nature and adventure sports.
