AMMAN-- A slight rise in temperatures, on Friday, is expected, pushing temperatures 7 to 9 degrees above their seasonal average, while relatively hot weather prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead and the port city of Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Winds will be southeasterly moderate, picking up at times, the JMD noted.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will reach a high of 27 degrees Celsius and a low of 15 degrees at night.
Highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to 36 degrees, sliding to 23 at night.
