Water Company
Mihyahuna will suspend water pumping to specific areas in Amman and Balqa for
52 hours next week due to a planned rehabilitation and installation of
equipment at the Zay water station feeding the capital, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The water company is developing its operational system, and improving
water supply efficiency. The upcoming maintenance is funded by the Japan
International Cooperation Agency.
In a press statement on Sunday, the company said that water suspension
will be carried out through three programmed periods, and will be concluded
before the end of the current year.
The company also said that the halted pumping will begin next week from
the evening of Monday, November 14, until Thursday morning, November 17.
The
company called on citizens to be watchful with the water quantities used in
order to avoid water shortages during the suspension period.
