AMMAN — On Thursday night, the atmosphere will
become very cold and gradually turn cloudy. Late at night, rain showers will
recur in the north and center of the Kingdom, with a possibility of light snow
mixed with rain over the mountain peaks. Winds will be moderate from the west.

According to the
Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) it warns of reduced horizontal visibility, especially over
mountainous areas, due to fog and low-lying clouds. There's a risk of road
slippage in rainy and snowy areas and a slight possibility of reduced
visibility due to dust in desert regions, Al-Ghad reported.
On Friday, the weather will be extremely cold,
partially to mostly cloudy with occasional rain in several parts of the
Kingdom. Rain will be heavy at intervals in the central and southern regions,
including the
Dead Sea area, accompanied by thunder and hail. There's a chance
of snow showers over the high southern mountains, with limited accumulation. By
the night, precipitation will generally decrease, and the winds will be
moderately brisk from the west.
On Saturday, temperatures will slightly rise,
with
very cold and partly to mostly cloudy conditions. Rain showers are
expected in scattered areas, and the winds will be moderately southwesterly,
occasionally picking up. On Sunday, a slight further increase in temperatures
is anticipated. The weather will be cold and foggy in the morning, with a
weak chance of light rain showers in the north and parts of the western central
regions. Southwest winds will be moderate, occasionally picking up.
