According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the move came at a time ASEZA seeks
to attract new low-cost carriers to boost the number of tourists, Madi said.
He added the first Wizz Air flight, coming from Abu Dhabi to Aqaba King Hussein
International Airport, will land on February 28.
The Aqaba Airport operates under "open skies airport policy",
allowing them to provide more landing rights than those in traditional
bilateral agreements, Madi indicated, adding that the airport is witnessing an
increasing demand on shipping and distribution.
