In a press statement on Thursday, the ministry said the platform comes within its commitments to gender equality, aimed to encourage women to work in the tourism sector.
The ministry affirmed "constant" coordination with the supporters of such projects to achieve the "desired" goals, the statement added.
To achieve goals, an action plan will be implemented based on the ministry's agreement with partners for a 1-year period, which covers awareness workshops targeting at least 150 women in the tourism sector, the ministry said.
The plan also seeks to launch a gender-based employment database in the hospitality sector to access promotional programs aimed to achieve women career advancement, the ministry pointed out.
The ministry announced improvements will be made to the legal framework as part of the action plan, to ensure women's empowerment and support, and training inclusion to ensure sustainable awareness on issue of women's empowerment in the tourism sector.
