AMMAN— Al-Balqa' Applied University’s Consultations, Studies and Training Center, held an introductory workshop on training programs and job gaps in the Jordanian market, in cooperation with the training program departments represented by Orange digital community centers and digital manufacturing and business incubators, supported by the EU, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The workshop, which was held on Thursday evening at the Jordanian-Korean Center for Information and Communication Technology at the university, aims to introduce Orange programs that target young people in all academic disciplines, in order to raise their competencies, increase their employment opportunities in the labor market, and establish their own projects.
Hatem Habashneh, head of Orange Programmes for Education and Universities along other trainers spoke about programming, IT, entrepreneurship, and how to train the youth and develop their skills on a global level in technical sectors, in addition to communication skills, writing CVs, and qualifying a new efficient generation of professional programmers in light of the increasing demand for qualified programmers in the local and regional markets.
They also talked about conducting training courses in life and administrative skills, conducting intensive courses provided by a team of qualified trainers, and networking with the most important international companies with access to jobs and entrepreneurship.
