Yemen: 7 Dead and 65 Injured in Gas Station Explosion

Amman– Seven people were killed, and 65 others injured, including 15 in critical condition, following an explosion at a gas filling station in Al-Bayda Governorate, central Yemen, early Sunday morning, according to local authority sources.اضافة اعلان

According to the news site "Aden News," the sources confirmed that an explosion occurred at a household gas filling station in the Al-Nasifa area of Al-Zaher District, north of Al-Bayda Governorate.

The blast was followed by a massive fire that resulted in dozens of casualties and caused fires in over 20 vehicles present at the scene.

The incident also inflicted extensive material damage in the surrounding area.
The sources added that security authorities have launched an investigation to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
