AMMAN — Amidst great anticipation, the Jordan Young
Scientists (JoYS) National Exhibition 2023 is scheduled to commence next
Saturday, organized by the Embassy of Ireland. This national initiative,
supported by the Ministry of Education, Crown Prince Foundation, and Queen
Rania Foundation, aims to ignite the passion for science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among young students while providing them
with a platform to showcase their exceptional projects.

Spanning two consecutive days, the exhibition will gather
357 students from 68 schools across the Kingdom These young scientists will
unveil their innovative solutions to real-world challenges and present
ground-breaking scientific discoveries, captivating visitors with their
ingenuity and creativity, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
The JoYS Program, with its origins dating back nearly sixty
years in Ireland, has now arrived in Jordan, offering a priceless opportunity
for young scientists to demonstrate their potential and shape a brighter
future. This exhibition stands as a tribute to their remarkable achievements
and invites attendees to witness firsthand the talent and dedication of Jordan's
future innovators.
Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU) will serve as the
venue for the event, opening its doors to the public on June 24, starting at
noon. Visitors will have the privilege to explore the inspiring projects and
engage with the students, gaining insights into their scientific endeavors.
