In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Ministry of Youth highlighted that the meeting, held at its headquarters, reviewed ongoing youth programs implemented in collaboration with USAID. These initiatives aim to empower youth and develop their skills in line with the ministry’s strategic objectives.
Shdaifat emphasized that the ministry prioritizes translating the directives outlined in the government’s high-level letter of assignment and the royal speech during the opening of the National Assembly’s regular session. These priorities include equipping youth with skills for future jobs, activating youth and entrepreneurship centers, and expanding youth and sports facilities.
Stone underscored USAID’s commitment to supporting the youth sector, stating that the agency’s Education and Youth Office focuses on implementing qualitative programs and projects that address the needs and aspirations of young people.
She expressed optimism about strengthening the partnership with the ministry to broaden the scope of joint youth projects, ultimately enabling Jordanian youth to contribute more effectively to their communities’ development.
