AMMAN— The Poetry, Story, Novel and
Criticism Committee organized a youth poetry evening, with the participation of
a number of young poets, in the celebration of
Irbid, the Arab capital of
culture for 2022, in cooperation with the Jordanian Writers Association, Irbid
Branch, at the Arar Cultural House yesterday evening, according to the Jordan
News Agency, Petra.

During the evening, which was
attended by a distinguished cultural audience and youth attendance and moderated
by the storyteller Muhammad Al-Smadi, the creative poets Hamza Bani Yassin and
poet Lynn Hammad, Hazem Al-Mutlaq and Muhammad Hussein Brahma, recited creative
poetic texts of national, flirtatious and sentimental poetry, which cheered the
attendees.
The head of the Jordanian Writers Association
at Irbid branch, poet Ahmed Tanash Shatnawi, said that this evening came to
reveal the creative youth energies, within association’s program to explore,
support, and enhance young talents.
At the end of the poetic evening,
the head of the celebration’s executive office, Eng. Munther Bataineh and
Shatnawi distributed certificates of appreciation to the participating poets.
