AMMAN — Following an uptick in Shigella infections, spokesman for the Ministry of Education Ahmed Al-Masa’fa stated Sunday that schools in Jubbah in Jerash and Khirbet Al-Wahadna in Ajloun will only close for a day unless otherwise specified. According to Al-Ghad news, the Ministry of Education issued the decision to close and decontaminate the schools as a precaution.
