The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Thursday that the death toll from Israel's ongoing genocide against the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,239 martyrs and 111,676 injured since October 7, 2023.

In its daily report on Palestinian casualties in the Gaza Strip, the ministry stated, "The toll of Israeli aggression has reached 48,239 martyrs and 111,676 injuries since October 7, 2023."
The ministry added that "17 martyrs arrived at Gaza hospitals within the last 24 hours, including 14 whose bodies were pulled from under the rubble and 3 new victims, in addition to 9 injuries."
It explained that some of the victims are still trapped under the rubble or on the streets, and rescue teams are unable to reach them due to a lack of equipment.
Despite the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, the Israeli military continues to target Palestinians with airstrikes and drone fire, resulting in more deaths and injuries.
