These positions emphasize adherence to peace based on international legitimacy, the Arab Peace Initiative, and the two-state solution, with the establishment of the State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital. They also stress the importance of maintaining the historical and legal status of the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem under the Hashemite Custodianship.

The president also praised King Abdullah's announcement to host sick and wounded children from the Gaza Strip for treatment, adding to the assistance provided by Jordan, including humanitarian aid and operating field hospitals in Gaza and the West Bank.

Abbas reiterated the importance of coordinating Arab efforts and stances to adopt the Arab Peace Vision at the upcoming emergency Arab summit. He also praised the efforts made in the global coalition to implement the two-state solution and gain more international recognition for the State of Palestine. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of holding the International Peace Conference mid-this year, co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France.

In this context, President Abbas once again appreciated the courageous fraternal stances of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and all brotherly and friendly countries that rejected projects aimed at displacing our people and annexing its lands. These countries have confirmed that there will be no peace or stability without the establishment of the Palestinian state, insisting on the complete cessation of war, immediate humanitarian relief for our people, and the responsibility of the State of Palestine in the Gaza Strip.

They also called for the reconstruction of what the occupation has destroyed, according to a Palestinian-Egyptian-Arab plan with international support, aiming to rebuild while ensuring the presence of our people on their land.
Abbas reiterated the Palestinian people's determination to stay on their land in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, emphasizing that Palestine is not for sale.
