Algeria Orders 12 French Embassy Staff to Leave the Country

Algerian authorities have ordered 12 staff members of the French Embassy to leave Algerian territory within 48 hours, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot announced on Monday. He stated that the decision was a response to the arrest of three Algerian nationals in France.اضافة اعلان

In a written statement addressed to journalists, Barrot said:
"I call on the Algerian authorities to reverse this expulsion decision, which has no connection to the ongoing judicial proceedings in France."

He added:
"If the decision to expel our staff is upheld, we will have no choice but to respond immediately."
