The council urged to conclude the regular session number 156 on Saturday and implement the decisions made to enhance working with the African Union (AU) and support Palestinian decision-making across International bodies.
The council also expressed its rejection of the Head of the AU Commissioner’s step to approve the Israeli ambassador in Ethiopia, considering the action an act against the AU’s principles which stand against occupation, discrimination, and segregation. The AU has historically supported the Palestinian cause and condemned the Israeli provocations against Palestinians.
The council also urged the International Criminal Court (ICC) to take action against the war crimes and the crimes against humanity which Israel continues to impose against the Palestinian people, including forced migration and displacement within Jerusalem.
In addition, the council called on all countries, institutions, companies, and individuals to end all forms of dealings with the Israeli settlements on occupied Palestinian lands. The council also called on banning all imports and investments into those settlements.
The council expressed its appreciation for all Arab efforts in supporting the Palestinian cause.
