AMMAN — Arab Foreign Ministers meeting in Jeddah, Saturday,
condemned the ongoing Israeli atrocities in the occupied West Bank and
Jerusalem, according to Arab News.

Israeli illegal practicesThe Foreign Ministers from GCC countries as well as Egypt,
Jordan, and Iraq said Israeli actions undermine the efforts to achieve a
lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian crisis.
A full statement was issued by the Saudi Foreign Ministry
denouncing the "Israeli illegal practices" and these were
"undermining the chances of achieving a just and comprehensive peace based
on the two-state solution which embodies the independent and sovereign
Palestinian state with its capital."
ConsultationThe foreign ministers were invited to Jeddah by Saudi
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan for a consultation meeting during
suhoor marking the beginning of the fast.
This was an informal meeting to enhance joint Arab action in
facing common Arab challenges and addressing Arab crises by focusing on the
Palestinian cause and efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis according to the
Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman
Al-Safadi later said the meeting was "in-depth and fruitful" and
reflected consensus in the two Kingdoms' vision on the Palestinian issue,
stressing the need to confront Israeli illegal measures that undermine the chances
of achieving peace.
