Gaza – The ceasefire in Gaza has officially come into effect, with thousands of citizens taking to the streets at 8:30 AM today to celebrate the end of the genocide waged by Israel against Gaza since October 7, 2023.

Citizens exchanged congratulations amidst mixed emotions of joy and sorrow over the loss of loved ones due to unprecedented aggression, killing, and destruction that lasted for over 15 months.
According to Palestinian sources, preparations are underway to implement the stages of the ceasefire agreement, including the return of displaced individuals, the entry of aid, and other measures aimed at alleviating the humanitarian
crisis. Meanwhile, Gazans remember the heavy toll of the conflict:
approximately 47,000 martyrs, 110,000 injured, thousands still under the rubble, and thousands detained in Israeli prisons.
Thousands of families in northern and southern Gaza have begun returning to check on their homes after being deprived of access for an extended period.
