China: We Will Respond to the Tariff War Until the End
China confirmed on Thursday that it will respond "to the end" if the United States continues its tariff war and trade war against it.

This statement was made by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Lin Xian, during a press conference in which he addressed U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to raise tariffs on Chinese imports by 125%.اضافة اعلان

Lin emphasized that China will not succumb to pressure on this issue, adding, "If the United States ignores the interests of China, the U.S., and the international community and is determined to wage a tariff war and trade war, China will respond to the end."

He pointed out that the United States "is still misusing tariffs" against China.

He continued, "China will not accept such bullying and domineering actions. Pressure, threats, and extortion are not the right way to deal with China."

On April 2, Trump imposed a 34% tariff on Chinese imports, in addition to the 20% tariff previously imposed in the past two months, prompting Beijing to retaliate by imposing the same 34% tariff on U.S. exports.

Washington responded by imposing another 50% tariff, bringing the total to 104%, which was met by China increasing tariffs on American goods from 34% to 84%. On Wednesday evening, Trump raised tariffs on China to 125%.

Earlier in April, Trump announced reciprocal tariffs on all countries, with a minimum rate of 10%.
