Daniel Noboa Elected President of Ecuador

Ecuador’s top electoral authority announced early Monday the victory of incumbent President Daniel Noboa in the presidential runoff election held on Sunday, according to preliminary results.اضافة اعلان

According to official state television, results published by the National Electoral Council of Ecuador showed that Noboa secured 55.8% of the vote after counting more than 90% of the ballots, while leftist lawyer Luisa González received 44%.

Over 13 million Ecuadorians were eligible to vote in the election, where voting is mandatory.
