GAZA – The
healthcare system in Gaza grappling with an unprecedented surge in casualties.
Since October 7, Gaza's hospitals are receiving one injured every minute and
witnessing 15 killed every hour, as revealed by Gaza’s Media Office.
On Tuesday,
Gaza’s government revealed that nearly 2 percent of the total population has
been directly affected by the Israeli aggression, either as dead or wounded
individuals. Among the figures, the average hourly toll includes six children
and five females losing their lives.
Gaza's healthcare infrastructure,
already strained, is now on the brink of collapse.
Meanwhile, nearly half of Gaza’s hospitals and 62 percent of its primary care
centers have ceased operations, leaving many in need.
