Amman– Gold prices surged on Wednesday to their highest level in 11 weeks amid uncertainty surrounding U.S. President Donald Trump's trade policies.

According to data from Bloomberg, February gold futures rose by 0.19%, reaching $2,764.50 per ounce, while spot gold prices increased by 0.23% to $2,751.05 per ounce.
Regarding other precious metals, spot silver prices remained steady at $30.85 per ounce, palladium gained 0.1% to $958.11, and platinum prices held at $944.05 per ounce.
