Iranian Vice President Mohammad Javad Zarif Resigns from His Position
Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran's Vice President for Strategic Affairs, has submitted his resignation from his position.

According to the official Iranian news agency, IRNA, Zarif submitted his resignation letter to President Masoud Bezhkian on Sunday.اضافة اعلان

The agency further noted that Bezhkian has not yet responded to Zarif's resignation.

Zarif, who served as the country's Foreign Minister from 2013 to 2021 during the presidency of Hassan Rouhani, was one of the architects of the 2015 nuclear deal.

Zarif was appointed Vice President for Strategic Affairs by President Bezhkian in August of last year.
