AMMAN – The Kazakhstan Defense Minister, Nurlan Yermikbayev, has stated that 4 soldiers were killed and 66 people were injured while putting out a fire at an army ammunition depot in the southern province of Gambil, according the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The Defence Minister stated that a series of at least six explosions preceded the outbreak of the fire in the warehouse, according to RIA Novosti news agency reports on Friday.
Yesterday evening, Thursday, the Ministry of Defense for Kazakhstan reported that a fire broke out in the Gambil district in a warehouse belonging to a military unit, where ammunition for military engineering forces is stored.
