King Welcomes Gaza Ceasefire, Reaffirms Jordan's Support for Palestinians

Amman – His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan welcomed the announcement of the Gaza ceasefire on Thursday.

We welcome the announcement of the ceasefire in Gaza and call on the world to redouble efforts to alleviate the tragedy caused by the war by enhancing humanitarian response.

His Majesty added,
We value the roles of Egypt, Qatar, and the United States and stress the importance of sustaining the ceasefire.

He concluded, Jordan remains committed to standing by our brothers and sisters in Palestine, continuing to provide aid and working towards achieving peace.
