Launch of the Poetry Collection "Filistinyadha" by Ali Al-Amari
Amman – Poet Ali Al-Amari officially launched his poetry collection "Filistinyadha" on Tuesday evening at the Arab Center for Research in Amman.

Published by Al-Ahlia for Publishing and Distribution, the collection spans 134 medium-sized pages.

The collection, which recently won the Palestine Global Prize for Literature for 2024, features a single long poem that narrates the story of Palestine—a tale of its people’s steadfastness, identity, and connection to their land, whether within Palestine or in the diaspora.

The launch event was moderated by poet Zuhair Abu Shaib, who remarked that Al-Amari, in "Filistinyadha", demonstrates the courage of a true poet.

He refuses to succumb to the dominance of clichés and ensures his poetic experience remains dynamic and vibrant, regardless of its maturity and depth.

Al-Amari liberates the "text" from the barrenness of abstraction by addressing the neglected theme of "Palestine" and freeing the poem’s language from the constraints of excessive metaphor.

He metaphorically shatters the idol of "clichés" with his poetic axe, creating a transcendent text within the context of Palestine—a subject long abandoned by poets.اضافة اعلان
