In a statement, the Ministry strongly condemned the ongoing brutal attack on the Palestinian people in Gaza, which has resulted in more than 250 martyrs, dozens of missing persons, and hundreds of injured individuals, most of whom are women, children, and the elderly.
The Ministry considered the continuation of the aggression and the targeting of children, women, and unarmed civilians as a clear Israeli evasion of the obligation to establish a ceasefire, halt the genocide and displacement, and withdraw the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip. It also viewed it as an obstruction to international efforts supporting the reconstruction plan, the unification of the homeland, and the establishment of the Palestinian state.
The Ministry emphasized that "political solutions are the pathway to achieving a ceasefire, halting the aggression, and restoring the political horizon to resolve the conflict." It called for a firm international stance to ensure the immediate cessation of the aggression and warned against the occupation's plans to forcibly displace the Palestinian people.
