Spain: Halts Sale and Purchase of Weapons from Israel

The Spanish government has affirmed its commitment to the Palestinian cause and to peace in the Middle East, stating that it is "legally reviewing the potential implications of canceling an ammunition purchase contract with an Israeli company."اضافة اعلان

According to a report by Reuters on Thursday, the government indicated that it will not grant licenses for the import of Israeli ammunition due to reasons related to public interest.

It also stated that any arms deals with Israeli companies made prior to October 7, 2023, will not be executed, affirming that it has not bought or sold weapons to Israeli companies since that date and will not do so in the future.
