The White House stated in a document that U.S. President Donald Trump will sign an executive order on Thursday aimed at closing the Department of Education, fulfilling a key pledge made during his campaign.اضافة اعلان

The order directs Education Secretary Linda McMahon to "take all necessary steps to facilitate the closure of the Department of Education and return control of education to the states, while ensuring that services, programs, and benefits relied upon by Americans continue to be delivered effectively and without interruption."

It also specifies that any programs or activities receiving remaining funding from the Department of Education should not "support diversity, inclusion, or gender ideology."
