Trump to Announce Tariffs on Semiconductors

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he will unveil new tariffs on semiconductors entering the United States “next week.”

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday, Trump said,اضافة اعلان
"Tariffs will be imposed in the not-too-distant future."
When asked about the value of the tariffs, he responded,
"I’ll announce that next week."

On Saturday, Trump mentioned he would provide a "very specific" answer on the matter by Monday. Meanwhile, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick stated that the tariffs on semiconductors could take effect within a month or two.
