Turkey Arrests 234 People in Coordination with European Countries
On Tuesday morning, Turkish authorities announced the arrest of 234 individuals across five countries as part of a large-scale international crackdown on organized crime networks.

Interior Minister Yerlikaya explained that 225 of the suspects were arrested inside Turkey, while 9 were detained abroad, in cooperation with law enforcement in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, and Belgium.

Among those arrested were members of international drug trafficking networks, involved in the smuggling of cocaine, heroin, and ecstasy across multiple continents, according to Yerlikaya.

Ongoing Security Operations
Turkish security forces regularly conduct operations targeting individuals affiliated with banned organizations classified as terrorist groups, particularly ISIS and the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

In recent years, Turkish authorities have successfully apprehended numerous members of such organizations, including senior figures and individuals involved in attacks and bombings in both Syria and Turkey.
