Turkish security forces arrested 59 individuals suspected of being affiliated with ISIS during a large-scale security operation conducted in Istanbul on Monday morning.اضافة اعلان

Coordinated Raids Across Dozens of Locations
Security forces carried out simultaneous raids targeting 68 locations across Istanbul, based on investigations conducted by the city's Terror Crimes Bureau under the Public Prosecutor's Office.

According to security sources, the detainees had been holding meetings under the guise of publishing a magazine run by an individual identified as "Zeinel B."

Financing ISIS Through Charity Donations
As reported by Anadolu Agency, the suspects were involved in collecting funds under the pretext of zakat and charity donations to finance the illegal transfer of ISIS fighters from conflict zones to Turkey.

Following investigations and surveillance, the Public Prosecutor's Office issued arrest warrants for 63 suspects. Security teams managed to apprehend 59 of them, while efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining four.

Weapons and Foreign Currency Seized
During the raids, authorities confiscated weapons, ammunition, foreign currencies, and documents linked to ISIS.

The detainees are currently undergoing interrogation at the Istanbul Security Directorate as authorities work to uncover further details about their activities and connections.
