2,648 Tons of Vegetables and Fruits Arrive at the Central Market Today

The quantities of vegetables, fruits, and leafy greens received at the Central Wholesale Market, affiliated with the Greater Amman Municipality, today, Thursday, reached 2,648 tons. This includes 2,050 tons of vegetables, 363 tons of fruits, and 234 tons of leafy greens.اضافة اعلان

According to the Central Market bulletin and the price list of the items that arrived at the market, based on the lowest and highest price per kilogram, the prices of various items were as follows:  
- Black eggplant ranged between 15-25 piasters,  
- Dry onions between 15-20 piasters,  
- Potatoes between 25-40 piasters,  
- Tomatoes between 8-15 piasters,  
- Carrots between 20-40 piasters,  
- Cucumbers between 25-50 piasters,  
- Cauliflower between 15-30 piasters,  
- Lemons between 25-40 piasters,  
- Local bananas between 50-85 piasters.
