According to the Central Market Bulletin and the price list of the items that arrived at the market, based on the lowest and highest prices per kilogram, the price of black eggplant ranged between 15 and 25 piasters, dry onions between 15 and 20 piasters, potatoes between 20 and 30 piasters, tomatoes between 8 and 20 piasters, carrots between 35 and 50 piasters, cucumbers between 30 and 50 piasters, cauliflower between 15 and 30 piasters, lemons between 25 and 50 piasters, and local bananas between 50 and 75 piasters.
